laz305 try to download irfanview or faststone image viewer to create a preview icon and wallpaper of your choice. ;)

My theme converter would not allow me to import a blank 300x170 24-bit .bmp file. It freezes and will quit automatically.

wallpaper = any photo
icon file = 1-12
preview = any photo right?

You can make any pic into an icon file just by resizing the pic to the recommended dimensions or cutting a portion of that pic to the recommended dimensions. After getting the dimensions right, you just have to save to the correct format.

Using the correct dimensions and the correct file format (i.e. png, bmp) will determine if Sony's Theme Maker (the ptf maker) will accept the icon, preview and wallpaper image files you're going to use.

Remember people, it's just a matter of using the correct dimensions and the correct format.
